FAQ’S
Welcome to Our FAQ Page — AKA, “Forreal Answers, Quickly!”
Hey there, curious human (or possibly an AI sent to test us — in which case, we see you 👀),
So you’ve got questions, and we’ve got answers. Or at least some very confident-sounding explanations wrapped in a blanket of design wit and caffeine-induced optimism.
Whether you’re wondering why your logo doesn’t look like Beyoncé designed it herself (rude), what “vector” means without Googling it in secret, or how long it really takes to make magic happen (spoiler: longer than your cousin’s “$25 logo guy” promised), you’re in the right place.
This is where we spill the design tea, debunk the myths, and gently explain for the 87th time why we cannot “just make it pop.”
So buckle in, scroll on, and let’s get those burning questions answered — with style, sass, and a sprinkle of sarcasm.
Let’s FAQ-ing go!

What exactly is dropshipping, and why do you use it for your merch as a graphic designer?
Great Question! Dropshipping is a fulfillment method where I design all the artwork for the products (like t-shirts, tote bags, mugs, etc.), but I don’t physically keep them in stock. Instead, when you place an order, it goes straight to one of my trusted print-on-demand vendors who then prints, packs, and ships the item directly to you.
This allows me, as a graphic designer and small business owner, to focus on what I do best — creating bold, soulful, and inspiring designs — without having to manage inventory, handle packaging, or wait in long post office lines. 🙃
I work with several different vendors because each one specializes in different types of products or offers unique quality and service. For example:
-
One vendor may handle all t-shirts and hoodies.
-
Another may specialize in premium mugs or wall art.
-
Yet another may be my go-to for eco-friendly tote bags or limited edition items.
Each individual vendor is 100% responsible for shipping, tracking, and handling any returns or exchanges for the products they fulfill. That means if there’s ever an issue with your order (like a misprint or shipping delay), it’s handled directly by the company that produced and shipped it — often with fast and friendly customer service.
This setup ensures you get professional quality and faster delivery while I can keep creating more of the dope designs you love!
Why Can’t I Place an Order?
If you have prior bad debt with alegna creates, you will not be able to have an order approved until the debt is paid. Also, if you have cancelled several orders or other similar behaviors of clients who are not ideal, like questioning our prices/fees and inititating unorganized third party order processed that do not adhere to our protocol- services may not be extended to you.
What do I need to know/do before contacting you?
Before you get in touch, please review my portfolio and make sure our work is reflective of your vision and what you can expect to receive as a final product. We also recommend you review our price sheet and FAQs for basic next steps. Then lastly, ask yourself- am I fully available for this project in order to complete it in a timely manner where I can respond within 48 hours? Am I sure what I want or willing to give over full rein to the designer? Have I gathered all the information I need to submit a complete and organized order? Am I willing to follow the designers terms?

All orders are due in full upon invoice. Invoicing is done via PayPal where you can pay via credit card. Retainer fees are due monthly on the first of the month. You can also utilize Cash App as a secondary source of payment/tips.
Do you offer printing services?
No, we do not facilitate printing. You will receive files that are print-ready when specified and you can choose a vendor of your choice to initiate printing.
Can I do anything with what you design?
While I retain the right to be acknowledged as the designer of the artwork, you get the right to copy or reproduce the artwork for the purpose it was created. For example, if you order a logo, you have full rights to use it on all of your products and merchandise, e.g. websites; brochures; TV commercials, for as long as you are in business. And from our side, no part of that logo can be used for the creation of new artwork such as a new logo for different businesses or/and entities because you get exclusive rights. In that respect, all concepts, designs, sketches and ideas we present to clients remain 100% the copyright of the graphic designer. But once a design is approved, the client has the right to use the approved designs for the purpose they were commissioned.
Sharing copyright with our clients means we are always acknowledged, whenever appropriate, as authors of the creative work. IP is always ours, and the rights to reproduce the design–the copyright–goes to the client.
If stock images or clip art are used then copyright remains with the original photographer or stock image provider and can only be used according to their terms and conditions.
Who is the ideal client for the Re-Introduce Yourself Package?
This package is great for someone who has launched their business previously yet invested minimally in their overall branding before now. It is also great for people wanting to add a new product or refresh their branding. The purpose of offering a one-niche package is to streamline services and allow for a quick service that does not require a lot of back and forth and decision-making. You know exactly what you are getting up front, and you make all the choices beyond that. Your schedule is not interrupted by months-long order processes that constantly interrupt your workflow.
But am I really an ideal client after that?
If you can follow directions, are organized, honest and professional when doing business and know how to effectively communicate all information/preferences in advance, you will likely be a good client. If you’re indecisive, all over the place, constantly adding things not submitted with the original order etc. please exit stage left now *lol Otherwise, you may not be a good fit and may become frustrated during the process. Remember, it’s all about the soft life over here. Do not waste my time and I won’t waste yours. You could have chosen any graphic designer so while we appreciate you considering us, please do not feel entitled to tell alegna creates how to do business no more than you would tell Walmart or Amazon what to do with their protocols. Simply chose someone else. Long gone are the days of chasing clientele and trying to appease everyone and going above and beyond for minimal cost just to not be appreciated. Protect your peace and mine and as the famous reels say “Unh Uhn ,get somebody else to do it!” 😉
Do you design websites?
No, we no longer offer full website design (except for premium/VIP clients), but you can use your graphics on your existing or new website.
If I have some of the items in the package already, can they be swapped out for other things?
No. The package cannot be broken up in any way. We recommend you find another designer who sells these items individually and purchases them accordingly and as needed. If you place an order, you will receive all items and be invoiced for the full package.
Can I just use photos from my phone?
No. We can only work with professional, hi-res photography and recommend you invest in a branded photo shoot with a photographer of your choice.
Do I need to provide any content?
Yes. You are responsible for all content submission, and you should have this ready to go upon placing your order and paying your invoice. While we feel you provide the best voice for your project, if you do not feel confident in creating your own copy, please advise and we can work with you and invoice you properly as needed.
Can I have a consultation call?
Yes, while most answers to questions can be found on the website or via email, some may still want a call. Consult calls are $75/per 30 minutes. Why so much? Because my time has been wasted repeatedly on consult calls. Consult calls are not the easy way out of reading and should not be used as such. I am not even going to hold you-If you already know that you can’t communicate effectively via email then AC is not the choice for you. Being tied to a phone is not the way I want to spend the last half of my life ya dig?
What should my content include?
Everything! Well, maybe not everything but honestly your content should include any information you want placed on the graphics. This includes your contact information (address and email), social media username, any branded or direct quotes related to your business etc.
I’m ordering something else, do the general rules still apply?
Yes.
Do I get the editable files at the end of the project?
No. You will only receive the final file(s) related to your project. If you have questions about what file formats you receive and it’s not noted, please inquire prior to placing your order.
How quickly can I get my graphics?
Please allow 5-10 business days depending on the project. You will be kept up to-date on all timeframes. You can pay an additional $100 RUSH fee if you need items in shorter time periods. alegna creates is known for it’s quicker turnaround times so if you like to drag projects out over long periods, then alegna creates is not the designer for you.
Can I come back and order more branded graphics later?
Yes. Once you have purchased the RY Package there will be options to purchase additional graphics extended to you as a former RY client. Also, note you will receive several blank branded backgrounds as a courtesy to use on popular platforms like Canva.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
No. We do not offer refunds once payment is made. There are no exceptions to this so please do not inquire about such. Once payment is made, you have 48 hours to provide all required information. We strongly recommend you submit all info prior to payment. If information is not received, your order will be cancelled, and no refunds will be granted.
Are there any other options for add-ons?
Add-on offerings may change in the future. You can inquire during your initial inquiry about what you have in mind.
Please be organized when seeking design services as this will help keep the process moving. Submit all information and preferences at the start of order as this could lead to additional fees if handled improperly.
Do you offer printing services?
No, we do not facilitate printing. You will receive files that are print-ready when specified and you can choose a vendor of your choice to initiate printing.
