AM received a cease and desist email from owner Sondra Wright today about our “40+ and Fabulous” designed items. Though I thought it was just a common term, it turns out its a registered trademark by the same named company in Greensboro, NC so that design was removed from my offerings. So those associated items are no longer available as well. It hasn’t sold in our main shop so you guys probably wouldn’t miss it but there may be old ads floating around with it on it (I found two already) so this explains why you will not be able to find it in the shop and eliminate the need to inquire about anything custom relating to.
AM intended no infringement on their name, or intended to imply any affiliation with the company that would ruin their namesake or reputation or confuse consumers as we were not even aware until today but AM apologizes if you the consumer thought we were linked in any way. Our websites, logos, designs, branding etc. are not similar but the text alone creates the conflict.
If you are still looking to be 40 + and Fabulous, then please support their t-shirt which you can purchase on their website (or search online for other options being sold). AM will come up with some more designs soon but we have to find something else to be after 40…the way I am yawning today I think 40 + and tired or 40+ and wore out would be appropriate. 🙂 Keep smiling!
